Once again chaos is being seen in the politics of Pakistan. Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal and Pakistani leader Maulana Fazlur Rehman has given such a statement from Karachi, which has shaken not only the power of Pakistan but also the Pakistan Army Chief and Field Marshal Asim Munir.
Addressing a public meeting in Karachi, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman claimed that he is continuously receiving threatening phone calls and letters. He directly blamed the crowd and said that if I was killed tomorrow, the establishment would be responsible. In such a situation, the old war of army versus opposition has once again come to the fore in Pakistan.
Where is civil-military hybrid rule?
Describing the present regime of Pakistan as a civil-military hybrid rule, Maulana Rehman said that the country has become a hostage in a way and the policies of the government have given Pakistan such a turn that relations with India have deteriorated, tension with Afghanistan has also increased and now China’s confidence is also wavering. That means the attack was not just on the government, but on the entire system, behind which the power of the army is often seen in Pakistan.
Maulana should not become another Imran Khan
Earlier, former Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan and his party PTI had also made similar allegations against the Pakistani Army. Let us tell you that for a long time the opposition parties in Pakistan have been alleging that the army decides what the PM and the President will do in the country and the army plays a big role in politics. In such a situation, now the question is arising whether the condition of Maulana may also become like that of Imran Khan.
What did you say about Israel?
Maulana Fazlur Rehman announced to start a nationwide protest movement from May 22. He attacked the government regarding rising inflation, domestic policies and foreign policy of the government. Apart from this, while mentioning the Gaza war, he appealed to the Arab countries to form an Islamic block against Israel. He claimed that Israel is expanding its reach in the region and Pakistan may also come under threat in the future.
