Pancham Da had composed the tune the whole night
During the show, Vishal Dadlani narrated the story of the making of the song ‘Chingari Koi Bhadke’. Vishal said that this song was composed by famous musician R. It was the result of the brilliant thinking of D. Burman (Pancham Da) and veteran lyricist Anand Bakshi. He said, ‘Pancham Da worked hard the whole night to prepare the tune of this song. When the tune was ready, he gave it to Anand Bakshi so that he could write its lyrics.
The most special idea for a song found in the rain
Vishal further said, ‘It was the rainy season at that time. Anand Bakshi was trying to light a cigarette while returning home at night. But due to rain his lighter was getting extinguished again and again. That small moment created a big thought in his mind. Then the line came to his mind – ‘If any spark flares up, then the monsoon should extinguish it.’ This was the moment from where the words of this famous song began.
