Shreyas Iyer’s sister Shrestha Iyer, while sharing a long video on social media, has clarified that she never insulted any team or players, rather she respects every player because her brother is also a cricketer. You think it was a trolling video, according to me it was a fun banter. I had no bad intention behind it. I was just supporting my brother’s team, it does not mean that I hate any team. Or the players, in fact I respect all the players a lot because my brother is also a cricketer.” After this she lashed out at those users who are sending her wrong messages on social media.
Shrestha further said, “I have come to talk about those fans who do not have a job, who are frustrated, who do not have any business. After that video, if you go to my comment section, you will understand how many dirty comments are there, how many people are there who are jobless, frustrated, I really feel pity for those people. But I have not come to speak about myself, but about those with whom I am associated. You can reach those people. You are also reaching out because you are not getting any response from me.”

Shrestha Iyer alleged in her video that people in her workplace were calling and talking dirty to the people associated with her and abusing them. He said, “There are limits to anything and those people crossed all those limits.”
