Kagiso Rabada Record: Kagiso Rabada, playing for Gujarat Titans, created history in IPL 2026 by setting the record of taking most wickets in a season. The first qualifier of the season is being played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat in Dharamshala. Coming to bat first in the match, Bengaluru was given the initial blow by Rabada in the form of opener Venkatesh Iyer.

With this wicket, Rabada became the bowler taking the most wickets in the first 6 overs of the season. In the current season, Rabada has taken 18 wickets in his name. He overtook Mohammed Shami. Shami is at second position with 17 wickets, who did this feat in the 2023 season.

The journey of the losing team will end i.e. the losing team will be out of the tournament. Now it will be interesting to see which two teams make it to the finals this time.
