Karnataka BJP President and MLA BY Vijayendra attacked the Congress government on this entire incident. He said that the Congress high command’s initiative to change the Chief Minister is like accepting the administrative failure of the state government. He claimed that early assembly elections in Karnataka are almost certain. The BJP leader said that after meetings that lasted for about five to five and a half hours in Delhi, the final decision to seek resignation from the Chief Minister has been taken. He also said that whoever becomes the Chief Minister after Siddaramaiah’s resignation will be only temporary.
