Whereas TCS CEO K Krithivasan got Rs 28 crore as salary. This means that in terms of salary, Salil Parekh has earned about Rs 55 crore more than the CEO of TCS.

Such a huge difference in the salary of both the CEOs is also a matter of discussion because TCS business is much bigger than Infosys business. TCS’s FY 2026 revenue is Rs 2.67 lakh crore. In which the company’s profit is being reported as Rs 49,210 crore.

So the revenue of Infosys for the financial year 2026 is Rs 1.79 lakh crore. In which the company’s profit is being said to be Rs 29,440 crore. This means that despite the company being small, the CEO of Infosys has received a higher salary.

Why is Salil Parekh’s package so big?
Salil Parekh’s total package is Rs 82.6 crore. Which is divided as follows:

Fixed salary: Rs 7.97 crore
Retirement and other benefits: Rs 0.53 crore
Performance based bonus: Rs 8.5 crore
Stock based incentive: Rs 23.35 crore
Profit from selling/exercising share options: Rs 50.75 crore

If we look at this mathematics, a major part of his income has come from company shares and stock incentives.

How much and what is the package of K Krithivasan?
Infosys CEO K. The total annual package of Krithivasan is Rs 28 crore. Which is divided as follows:

Basic Salary: Rs 1.67 crore
Allowances and other facilities: Rs 1.43 crore
Performance based commission: Rs 25 crore

This means that the majority of his salary came from cash salaries and bonuses, while stock-based payments were much less.

TCS is still a big company
Although TCS is a bigger and more profitable company than Infosys, Infosys CEO Salil Parekh earns much more. The main reason for this is that their salary package includes a large portion of shares and stock based incentives. This is why his total earnings are almost three times more than the CEO of TCS.
