UGC Net Exam schedule: NTA has released the schedule of UCG NET exam, know when and how long will the exam be held?

UGC Net Exam schedule: National Testing Agency has released the subject-wise exam schedule of UGC-NET June 2026. This examination will be conducted from June 22 to June 30, 2026 through computer based examination. In this program released through official notification, examinations of more than 80 subjects will be conducted in two shifts in five days. According to NTA, the examinations will be held in two shifts daily. The first shift will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 noon and the second shift will be held from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

City intimation slips will be allotted from 12th to 14th June

NTA has said that the notification related to the information about the city exam center for the examination will be released on its official website 8 to 10 days before the examination. It is being estimated that the candidates appearing for the exam on June 22 will be able to get the details of city allotment from around June 12 to 14. Apart from this, NTA has advised the candidates to download their admit cards as soon as they are released and verify all the details including exam center city, shift timings and subject code before their scheduled exam date.

UGC NET exam will start from June 22, in which the first phase will include subjects like Visual Arts, Museology and Conservation, Geography, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil, Labor Welfare and Personnel Management and the second phase will include subjects like Computer Science and Applications, Persian, Russian, Bengali, Home Science, Music and Population Studies.

Exams will continue till June 30

According to NTA, UGC NET exam will continue till June 30. Whereas on June 30, the first phase includes Economics and its related subjects, Environmental Science, Hindu Studies, Anthropology, Bodo, Gujarati, Sanskrit, Politics, Human Rights and Duties. The second phase includes Assamese, Sociology, Yoga, Tourism, Administration and Management, Adult Education, Archaeology, Oriya, Social Medicine and Community Health, Statistics and Forestry.
