National President of Bharatiya Janata Party Nitin Naveen said during a program in Ranchi that the digital age will not be allowed to be used to take the youth in the wrong direction. His statement has come at a time when on the other hand, a big demonstration was going on under the leadership of CJP at Jantar Mantar in the national capital Delhi.
Warning on misuse of digital age
BJP National President said that the youth of the country are taking the country forward with their hard work and strength. He said that those who want to take the youth towards negative politics, they are warned that the youth of India will do positive politics. He said that protest can be done democratically, but the dignity of democracy will not be allowed to be harmed.
Comment on foreign leaders and ‘satire’ politics
He is believed to be referring to Abhijeet Deepke, who had recently started a website and social media handle named ‘Cockroach Janta Party’. Deepke is a Public Relations graduate and has previously lived in America. He returned to India this morning and reached Jantar Mantar in Delhi, where he led the protest.

Deepke’s social media activities have also been in the news, where his accounts gained millions of followers in a few weeks.
Accused of using youth as ‘platform’
The BJP President said that some people are sitting abroad and trying to give direction to the youth of India. He said that the youth of India lives in villages, farms, coaching centers and colleges and will not go in the wrong direction under anyone’s influence. He alleged that some forces are trying to spread confusion by using digital medium.
Statement on digital media and politics
He said that digital medium should be used for the development of the country and progress of the youth. He also said that any attempt to take the youth of the country in a negative direction through digital platforms will not be accepted. He appealed to the youth to be alert and contribute in building a developed India.
CJP’s demonstration at Jantar Mantar
Meanwhile, protesters at Jantar Mantar in Delhi demanded the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan. This demand was made regarding alleged irregularities in the conduct of CBSE examination and allegations related to NEET-UG examination. A large number of youth and supporters participated in the demonstration.
