Ahead of the Kashmir Bandh against the Pakistani government and army under the banner of Awami Action Committee of local residents in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), Pakistani Army, Punjab Police and Rangers have been deployed in every district of PoK on Sunday (June 7, 2026). Along with this, after deployment, Pakistani Army has also started oppressing the local Kashmiris living in POK who were preparing for the protest.
PAK Army and Rangers opened fire on those who raised slogans.
Today at around 4 pm on Sunday (June 7, 2026) in Rawalakot area of PoK, when Awami Action Committee workers were raising slogans against the Pakistani Army and Government, suddenly the Pakistani Army and Rangers started firing indiscriminately on the protesters. Four people were seriously injured due to the bullet and they are undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital, Rawalkot.
Pak Army wants to break it even before the demonstration takes place
In fact, on Tuesday (June 9, 2026), a demonstration will be organized in the entire Pakistan occupied Kashmir against the government and army of Pakistan against price rise, cancellation of refugee seats and opposition to the issue. Due to which the internet is closed in the entire PoK from the night of Friday (June 5, 2026). Besides, the Awami Action Committee, under whose leadership the protest is to be held, has been declared a terrorist organization and the office of the committee was also sealed by Pakistani Rangers.
Pak Army has carried out such incidents in the past also
Last year too, in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (POK), Pakistani Army, Islamabad Police and Rangers had massacred the protesting Kashmiris and shot dead 28 protesters in 4 days. Last Saturday (June 6, 2026) also, the Pakistani Army had opened fire on Awami Action Committee member Umar Nazir and his accompanying vehicle in Rawalakot, in which Umar Nazir was injured and his companion died.
