Akash Tigers and North Mumbai Panthers were face to face in the 10th match of T20 Mumbai League 2026. In this match, North Mumbai Panthers under the captaincy of Ajinkya Rahane registered a spectacular victory by 22 runs. Ayush Vartak’s explosive batting and Vaibhav Mali’s brilliant bowling played an important role in the victory of North Mumbai Panthers. Ayush Vartak was chosen player of the match for his excellent innings.
After winning the toss, Akash Tigers decided to bowl first. Batting first, North Mumbai Panthers scored 194 runs at the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. While chasing the target of 195 runs, Akash Tigers team could score only 172 runs for 9 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 22 runs.
Vaibhav Mali’s deadly bowling
Vaibhav Mali bowled brilliantly for North Mumbai Panthers and took 3 wickets for just 15 runs in 4 overs. Apart from them, Prateek Mishra and Pravesh Paul also contributed to the team’s victory by taking 2-2 wickets. Sarfaraz Khan tried to single-handedly win the match for Akash Tigers. He played a stormy inning of 62 runs in just 21 balls. Sarfaraz hit 8 fours and 4 sixes in his innings. His strike rate was 295.25. However, despite his excellent batting, the team could not win. Saksham Parashar also contributed 29 runs for Akash Tigers.

Ayush Vartak’s bat spoke fiercely
Ayush Vartak proved to be the biggest star in the batting of North Mumbai Panthers. Coming in at number 5, he scored unbeaten 83 runs in 41 balls. During his innings, Ayush hit 7 sixes and 3 fours. His strike rate was 202.44. Captain Ajinkya Rahane scored 15 runs, while Anish Chauhan played a useful inning of 44 runs.

Abhigyan Kundu also batted fast and added 20 runs in 13 balls. Vinayak Bhoir was the most successful bowler for Akash Tigers. He took 2 wickets in his name.
