America’s Apache attack helicopter has crashed near the Strait of Hormuz. US President Donald Trump confirmed this news on Monday. He told that both the pilots of the helicopter are safe.
According to Reuters, while answering media questions on the runway of John F. Kennedy International Airport before returning to Washington DC, Trump said, ‘The pilots are completely safe. The administration will issue a detailed report on this incident, but for now all I can say is that both the pilots are fine.
Earlier, a New York Times report said that an Apache gunship helicopter of the US Army crashed near Hormuz. However, the reason behind the fall of the helicopter is not yet clear.
How did the incident happen? The reason was not revealed
According to reports, both the pilots were successfully rescued after the accident and are safe. American officials have not yet shared any detailed information on the reasons for the incident.
Along with this, Trump has claimed that Israel and Iran have agreed to reduce tension for the time being and will not take any new military action against each other for the next one week. He made this statement after a conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

What did Trump say about Netanyahu?
Speaking to reporters, Trump said, ‘I had a very positive discussion with Netanyahu. In the recent incident, Israel was attacked, in response to which it also took action. Both sides do not want to escalate the conflict at this time and have agreed to leave each other for some time.
Trump also indicated that an important agreement between America and Iran regarding the nuclear program has reached the final stage. According to him, this agreement will be such that Iran will not be allowed to develop nuclear weapons in any form. He expressed hope that it could be signed in the next two to three days.

What did Trump say on Hormuz?
The President also mentioned Hormuz and said that this important sea route will be completely opened as soon as the agreement is signed. Trump defended the US strategy adopted to put pressure on Iran, saying that economic blockade has proved more effective than military attacks. He said, ‘If America wants, it can bomb on a large scale, but it will cause huge loss of life and property and will increase instability in the region.’
According to him, Iran’s economy has been affected due to the sanctions imposed on ports and economic pressure. This is the reason why Tehran now seems ready to move towards an agreement.
