America has given a big blow to China. The Pentagon has updated the list of companies associated with the Chinese military establishment i.e. PLA. Many major firms including Alibaba Group, Baidu, BYD, NIO and WuXi AppTec have been included in this blacklist. Now these companies will not get investment in America. Not only this, now demand is also being made to delist these companies from the stock market.
This step has been taken by the US War Department with the aim of warning American businessmen and government agencies against having any kind of relationship with these companies linked to PLA.
America announced 1260H list update
America’s China Committee issued a statement on Monday and shared its details. According to this, the Pentagon has announced the inclusion of many companies in its 1260H list, which are associated with the Chinese Army. This step has been taken after an appeal by John Moolenaar, Chairman of the Select Committee on China and other Congress leaders.

Chairman Moolenaar said the listing of Chinese military companies serves as a ‘warning’ to American businesses, all levels of government, and the American public that these Chinese companies are working closely with the Chinese military against America’s national interests.
Moolenaar said, ‘Any company listed in the US market should be immediately delisted and their products should be removed from the supply chains on which our country depends. American companies should stop doing business with these companies that pose a threat to national security, otherwise they are promoting China’s military supremacy.
Which companies were included in the list?
According to the statement, the newly added names to the list include Alibaba Group Holding Ltd., Baidu, BYD, NIO and WuXi AppTec, Inc., BOE Technology Group Co. Ltd., CALB Group Co. Ltd., EVE Energy Co. Ltd., Hangzhou Yushu Technology Co. Ltd. (Unitree), JA Solar Technology Co. Ltd., Novogene Co. Ltd., RoboSense Technology Co. Ltd., Tianma Microelectronics Co. Ltd., TP-Link Technologies Co. Ltd., Trina Solar Co. Ltd. and Zhongji Innolite Co., Ltd.
The committee chairman thanked the support for the BioSecure Act passed in December and said it would protect Americans’ medical data from BGI and WuXi AppTec, which he described as two malicious Chinese biotech companies that enable the PLA’s biological experiments.
