If you are also thinking of expanding your business abroad, exploring new investment opportunities or starting a business with an international company, then this news is going to be very useful for you. To do business abroad, first of all you need the right visa. In many countries of the world, different types of visas are given for business activities. In such a situation, it is very important to choose the right visa according to the purpose of travel.

If you are going abroad only for a business meeting, conference, trade fair or to explore new market opportunities, then Business Visitor Visa is considered to be the best option. It is usually issued for a short period and allows participation in business meetings or events.

But if you are going to a country to invest, start a new company or establish a long-term business, then you may have to apply for an investor or start-up visa. Additionally, if your company has branches both in India and abroad and you are being sent abroad on company work, an Inter-Company Transfer Visa (ICT) may be required.

Keep these important documents ready before application

The success of your visa application largely depends on your documents. First of all, you must have a valid passport, which has at least six months validity left. If any foreign company or organization has invited you, then its official invitation letter is also necessary. This letter helps the visa officers understand the purpose of your visit.

Financial documents are also very important. Bank statements, Income Tax Returns (ITR), company financial records and investment related documents prove your financial condition. Apart from this, information about flight ticket, hotel booking and itinerary may also have to be submitted along with the application.

What questions should you be prepared for in the interview?

Interview is also included in the visa application of many countries. During this, the officials want to know that the purpose of your travel is genuine and that you will return to your country after the stipulated time. You may be asked which company or person you are going to meet. Questions like what work your company does, how big its business is and what benefits the company will get from traveling abroad can also be asked.
