SpaceX IPO Listing: The IPO of Elon Musk’s rocket, satellite and AI (Artificial Company) SpaceX has had a bumper listing on Nasdaq, the index of tech shares in the American stock market. After this, Musk has now officially become the first trillionaire in history.
SpaceX raised a record $75 billion (about Rs 6.4 lakh crore) from the market through this IPO. Along with this, it also left behind the previous global record of $29.4 billion made by Saudi Aramco in the year 2019.
For how much were the shares listed?
SpaceX shares were listed at $150 per share as against the issue price of $135. That means it was listed with a bumper premium of about 11%. Besides, it also reached the high level of $176 on the very first day. With this bumper start, the total market cap of the company crossed 2 trillion dollars (about 170 lakh crores).

Due to this explosive listing, Musk’s wealth increased by more than 188 billion dollars in just one day. According to the lists of Forbes and Bloomberg, after this huge surge in the shares of SpaceX, the total wealth of Elon Musk has crossed 1.1 trillion dollars (i.e. about 94.6 lakh crores).
Musk has about 38%-42% stake and majority stake in this company. Now SpaceX has become Musk’s most expensive company compared to Tesla. The total market value of SpaceX alone is now several times more than the GDP of more than 175 small and big countries in the world like Pakistan.

After the listing of SpaceX shares, a jump of 19% has been recorded in its shares. This historic listing of the company has made it the most successful IPO in the history of Wall Street. This 19% rise in the stock has taken Elon Musk’s total wealth beyond $ 1.1 trillion. Now SpaceX has joined the club of big tech companies like Microsoft and Apple with a market cap of $2 trillion.
