Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif claimed on Friday (June 12) that the final draft of the peace agreement has been agreed upon between the US and Iran. This can be a major success in ending the war that started after the attacks by America and Israel on Iran.
Shahbaz Sharif said in a post on Twitter that Pakistan has been mediating between Washington and Tehran for months and is now working closely with both. He said that amidst the ongoing mediation efforts by Pakistan, we are fully aware of the propaganda campaign by those who want to sabotage the peace agreement. Leaving aside all these things, we can confirm that the final draft of the peace agreement has been agreed upon.
He said, “We can confirm that a final and unanimous draft of the peace agreement has been reached and Pakistan is now working closely with both sides to finalize it. Peace has never been closer than it is now.” Sharif’s comments came shortly after Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said that an agreement between Tehran and Washington has never been closer.

Describing the proposed agreement between the US and Iran as the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, Araghchi appealed to the media to refrain from speculating about it until the document is formally finalized.
