Gurnoor Brar and Harsh Dubey are playing their debut international match in Dharamshala. Both were selected in the national team for the first time during Afghanistan’s tour of India and they got a chance in the playing 11 in the very first match of the ODI series. Gurnoor has made a dream debut by taking a wicket in his very first over, he is also the third tallest bowler to play international cricket for India.
Let us tell you that for the first time Team India is playing an ODI series with Afghanistan. The first match in Dharamshala was to start at 1:30 pm, the toss time was at 1 pm but due to continuous rain it got delayed. Harsh Dubey is a bowling all-rounder
Harsh Dubey was born on July 23, 2002 in Pune city of Maharashtra. 23-year-old bowling all-rounder Harsh plays for Vidarbha team in domestic. He is a left-handed batsman who also bowls with his left hand.
Harsh played for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026, taking 8 wickets in 8 matches. He made his debut in IPL last year while playing for SRH, he took 5 wickets in 3 matches played last year.
Talking about Harsh’s List ‘A’ record, he has taken 31 wickets in 30 matches and scored 296 runs. Talking about T20, he has taken 34 wickets in 38 matches. He also bats well.

Gurnoor Brar is 6 feet 5 inches tall
Gurnoor Brar was given the debut cap by captain Shubman Gill, 26 year old Brar also comes from Punjab. He was born on 25 May 2000 in Muktsar. He is a fast bowler who also gets the advantage of his height. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall, he is taller than Ishant Sharma.
Gurnoor played his only match in IPL in 2023. In that match he played for Punjab Kings, he bowled 3 overs, although he could not take any wicket. In the last edition (IPL 2026), he was included in Gujarat Titans, which team reached the final. However, he remained on the bench the entire season. But his debut in International has been excellent. He dismissed Ibrahim Zadran in his very first over.

Gurnoor Brar has taken 12 wickets in 9 List A matches, in which his best spell has been 4/57. He has 10 wickets in his name in 9 matches played in T20.
