A major accident took place in Pandharpur, Maharashtra on Sunday, where a pick up van filled with devotees fell into a well. 8 people died tragically in the accident. The bodies of all eight people have been taken out. All the deceased are said to be residents of Ranjani village of Pandharpur. All these people were going on pilgrimage. The accident occurred near Malishiras village of Solapur. There is mourning in the area near the accident.

8 people died in Raigarh district last month
Last month, on May 25, at least eight people died tragically when a tourist vehicle going from Konkan region to Satara met with an accident in Raigarh district of Maharashtra. After which the rescue operation was launched. According to officials, the vehicle lost control and fell into a valley about 1,000 feet deep in the hilly area of Raigarh district. The district administration immediately started relief and rescue operations. A war-footing operation was conducted to retrieve the dead bodies.
