Kolkata: Trinamool Congress (TMC) rebel MP Shatabdi Roy in West Bengal has reacted to the ongoing developments within the party. Talking to journalists, he said that the next Parliament session is going to be held in July and at that time it will be clear what is going to happen next. Shatabdi Roy said, “The next Parliament session is in July. Then we will see what happens.” Apart from this he said that you people are driving me crazy.
Shatabdi Roy also said that at present the leader and deputy leader will be decided. That is, at this time the first decision has to be taken on the issues related to the leadership of the parliamentary party. Only after this the further situation will emerge. In recent times, there is a continuous discussion about the ongoing dispute within TMC and rebel MPs. At such a time, this statement of Shatabdi Roy is being considered politically important. However, he did not give any additional information about possible further action or any other decision and only said that the situation will become clear in the Parliament session in July.

Meeting with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla
After the meeting of rebel TMC MPs with Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, rebel TMC MP Shatabdi Roy said that they have merged with NCPI (Nationalist Citizens Party of India). He said that further strategy will be decided according to time. Shatabdi Roy further said that he has not made any claim on the party’s election symbol. According to him, now the Lok Sabha Speaker will decide what decision will be taken in this matter.
