G-7 Summit in France: A meeting of G-7 countries will be held in the French city of Evian-les-Bains on Monday. In this, issues like Ukraine war, business, tension will be discussed. In this meeting, the agenda is also set regarding Iran and America but now a deal has been signed between the two countries. US President Donald Trump and PM Narendra Modi will also attend this meeting. Apart from these, other leaders of the world will also participate. This G-7 meeting will run from 15 to 17 June.
France is presiding over the G-7 meeting. This includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, UK and America. The Prime Minister of India has also been invited to the meeting, and he is present in France. This summit is taking place at a time when the war between Russia and Ukraine is going on, and there is a situation of conflict in the Middle East.
The agenda of the summit and who is attending?
In this meeting, apart from the leaders of G-7 countries and the European Union, French President Emmanuel Macron has invited the heads of state of many countries as chief guests. These include Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, Egyptian President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani.
Where the leaders of India, Ukraine, Egypt and Qatar have confirmed their presence. At present, it is not clear whether the Saudi Crown Prince will attend this year’s summit or not. Apart from these, leaders of Australia, Brazil, Kenya and South Korea are also participating in it.

On Monday, Macron will welcome Trump and is expected to hold separate meetings with the leaders of Egypt, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and India. Trade and economic development will also be part of the agenda. There is also to be a meeting between Trump and Indian Prime Minister Modi. Both the leaders will discuss trade and tariffs. China will not attend this meeting. However, discussion regarding China is possible in the summit.
