An important meeting has been called in Delhi amid preparations for major changes in the organization of the Indian National Congress state unit before the 2027 assembly elections in Punjab. All Congress MPs, MLAs and members of the State Congress Working Committee of Punjab have been asked to attend this meeting organized by recently appointed observers Meenakshi Nataraj, Ajay Maken and Bhajan Jatav.
According to the information, this meeting will be one-to-one, in which observers will take personal feedback from the leaders. After this, the prepared report will be submitted to Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.
Sources say that on the basis of this report, major reshuffle and action can be taken in the Punjab Congress organization.

Preparation for bus journey on 117 seats
Recently, there was also news regarding Punjab Congress that the party may give the responsibility of head to someone else in place of Raja Vading. Vijay Inder Singla’s name is leading in this race.
On the other hand, according to sources, Congress is preparing to start a big “Bus Yatra” in Punjab soon. The proposed yatra will cover all the 117 assembly seats in the state and will aim to strengthen the organization as well as give a message of unity among the workers. According to the information, Rahul Gandhi will flag off this campaign. During the journey, many senior leaders of Punjab Congress can be seen traveling together in the bus, so that the message of unity and collective leadership can be given within the party. Sources say that after the initial phase of the yatra, the state leaders and the central leadership of the Congress will take this campaign forward in the entire Punjab. At present, the route, program and other arrangements of the Yatra are being finalized and its detailed outline and official announcement is likely to be made soon.
