Electricity Consumption By New Electronic Buses: On one hand, on the morning of 15 June 2026, Indigo flight number 6E 2278, which came from Lucknow, made a successful landing as the first commercial flight at Noida International Airport. On the other hand, on June 12, 2026, CM Yogi Adityanath gave the green signal to electric buses, which started running on major routes of Noida and Greater Noida along with Jewar Airport from June 15. The purpose of these buses is to connect Noida, Greater Noida and major areas of Uttar Pradesh with the airport. Under this scheme, 45 new electric buses have been operated for airport connectivity. In the first phase, 30 double-decker electric buses will be deployed, out of which 10 buses will run only on the Jewar Airport route.
Plans to connect major areas like Botanical Garden, Pari Chowk, Gaur Chowk, Surajpur, Sector-62 and Ghaziabad with the airport are included in this. This will give another benefit to the passengers like they will not have to depend on private vehicles or taxis and reaching the airport will be easier than before. In such a situation, the question that comes to the mind of many people is, what is the average power consumption of an electric bus and how long can it run on a single charge?

Apart from this, it takes about 1 hour for a bus to be fully charged and once charged it can run for about 150 to 200 kilometers.
