New Zealand desperately needs victory
The series is of three tests. The first match has been played, in which host England won by 115 runs. New Zealand’s batting department looked in very poor condition in the match. New Zealand was reduced to 113 runs in the first innings and 138 runs in the second innings. In both the innings of this match, New Zealand did not score as many runs as they put on the board in the first innings of the second test.
To keep themselves alive in the series, New Zealand will have to either win the match at any cost or end it on a draw. Now it will be interesting to see what the result is.
