Despite facing atrocities in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, thousands of people are standing at the Idgah ground of Rawalkot for the 12th day today and challenging the Pakistani government day and night for their rights. Yesterday, Pakistani Rangers opened fire on 70 protesters living in Battal village of PoJK near LoC who were going to Rawalakot.
Similarly, till now 58 unarmed Kashmiris have been killed by Pakistani army. In such a situation, people are exposing the genocide of the Pakistani government and telling how the Kashmiris, who have been demanding their rights for the last 12 days, are being gunned down and even their dead bodies are not being given to them. Many Kashmiri youth who came to protest have been made missing by the Pakistani Army and it is not known whether they are alive or not.
According to the protesters, this does not happen even in Palestine as Pakistani Army, Rangers, FC, Sindh Police are doing in Pakistan occupied Jammu and Kashmir. Khwaja Mehran, one of the main organizers of the midnight protest against the ongoing firing in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir for the last 12 days, said that the Pakistani Army and ISI are firing on Kashmiris at the behest of the drug mafia.
‘Pakistani Army has been carrying out terrorist activities since June 5’
Khawaja Mehran challenged from the stage that he is ready to prove that the Pakistani Army, which is carrying out terrorist activities since June 5, is doing so at the behest of the drug mafia and he also has evidence of the connection of Brigadier (Faiq Ayub), Colonel (Zaheer) with the drug mafia of PoJK.
Arrangements to starve people of PoJK
Even on the 12th day of the protest, the borders of PoJK are sealed, trucks carrying food items are standing, Pakistani Army is making arrangements to starve the people of PoJK and people are linking the condition of PoJK with Palestine. In such a situation, another organizer of the protest, Sardar Umar Nazir, said that just like Nawasa-e-Rasool was murdered by keeping him hungry and thirsty, there are preparations to do the same with us but we have to stand firm.
Internet closed from 5th June
