Meanwhile, on Friday, Shahbaz Sharif’s government in Pakistan has again announced reduction in the prices of petrol and diesel. This time the price of petrol was reduced by Rs 74 and the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) was reduced by Rs 67. After reducing the price, now the price of petrol in Pakistan will be Rs 299.78 and the price of high-speed diesel will be Rs 311.78. Currently the prices are Rs 373.78 and Rs 378.78 per liter respectively.
It is noteworthy that petrol is mainly used in private vehicles, small vehicles, rickshaws and two-wheelers. In such a situation, the increase or decrease in its price directly impacts the middle and lower-middle class.
