The teams of India and Sri Lanka have made it to the finals of the tri-series. The title match will be played between India A and Sri Lanka A on June 21. This will not be an ordinary final match because emotions will also be involved in it. Because last time when the teams of India and Sri Lanka came face to face, Vaibhav Suryavanshi clashed with the opposition players and the matter reached the point of scuffle.
Actually, that match continued till the Super Over, in which Sri Lanka registered a thrilling victory. After that Vaibhav Suryavanshi got into an argument with the Sri Lankan players and even pushed a player. There was a lot of uproar over this incident and Vaibhav said that the Sri Lankan players kept taunting him throughout the tournament. But now Sri Lankan captain Sahan Arachige has rejected all such allegations.
Sri Lankan captain gave clarification
According to Sportstar, before the final match on Sunday, the Sri Lankan captain said, “Our players are not targeting anyone, they are just enjoying their game. Showing emotions in close matches like Super Over is not a shocking topic. It is normal. There are many experienced players in this team and know what they have to do and how to play.”
Vaibhav had made allegations
According to media reports, Vaibhav Suryavanshi said that Sri Lankan players kept sledging him during the entire tournament. A report also claimed that a Sri Lankan player had told him that this is not IPL and he should go home.
Well, now the eyes of Indian and Sri Lankan players will be on the final. Team India will hope that Vaibhav Suryavanshi does something amazing in the final. Vaibhav has not been able to score even a half-century in the entire series so far. He has scored 117 runs in 4 innings of the tri-series.
