Speculations about a major organizational reshuffle in Punjab Congress have intensified. According to sources, the three observers appointed by the party high command have submitted their detailed report to the Congress President. Apart from this, feedback was also taken regarding organizational changes, major political steps and the most suitable candidate for the state president to ensure victory in the assembly elections.

Observers also sought opinion from the leaders keeping in mind the key posts like State Congress President, Legislature Party Leader, Election Campaign Committee Chairman and Manifesto Committee Chairman. Besides, detailed discussion was also held regarding Sikh, Jat, Hindu and Dalit social equations.

According to sources, observers in their report have suggested the names of Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa, Charanjit Singh Channi and Vijay Inder Singhla for the post of Punjab Congress President. Now the final decision has to be taken by the Congress High Command, after which major organizational changes can be announced in Punjab Congress.
