Skoda is preparing to launch its new performance SUV Kodiaq RS in India. The company has started booking this SUV and its sales are also expected to start soon. The special thing is that Kodiaq RS will be brought to India as a completely ready (CBU) model, due to which its quantity is going to be very limited. It is believed that the company will bring only 50 units to India. In such a situation, this car is going to be quite exclusive.
The new Skoda Kodiaq RS has been made more sporty and powerful than the standard Kodiaq. It will have a 2.0-litre turbo petrol TSI engine, which will generate power of 265bhp and torque of 400Nm. This torque is more than Octavia RS. The engine will be provided with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive (AWD) system, which will greatly improve its performance and driving experience.
How is the design of the car?
Talking about the design of the vehicle, many changes have been made to differentiate the Kodiaq RS from the standard model. It will have new front and rear bumpers, sporty exhaust, large 20-inch alloy wheels and attractive styling. Along with this, bigger brakes are also expected to be provided for better braking.
Special attention has been paid to sporty feel in the interior also. It can get premium features like all-black cabin theme, red accents and sports seats. These changes will make it a luxury and performance-focused SUV.

The biggest feature of Kodiaq RS is that for the first time in India, Skoda’s RS badging is being introduced with an SUV. At the same time, Kodiaq will also be seen in RS avatar for the first time. Due to limited numbers and being an imported model, its price is expected to be much higher than the current Kodiaq. Its starting ex-showroom price can be more than Rs 50 lakh.
