In the case of alleged theft of offerings in Ram temple in Ayodhya, SIT has submitted a preliminary report after investigation in which many irregularities have been mentioned. SIT has also mentioned the means of receiving the offering, in which apart from offering Hundi, online, receipt has been mentioned at the cash counter. SIT has found out from the bank accounts and inquiries of Ram Mandir Trust that on an average 25 lakh devotees come to visit Ram Temple every month, but during Kumbh, about one crore devotees came in a month.
Investigation revealed that on an average an offering of Rs 15-18 per devotee comes, but the offering of grains, oil and ghee along with gold and silver jewelery was not included in this offering because no concrete proof and evidence of their donation was found. It is mentioned in the report that looking at the back statement and the number of devotees, there was a huge fluctuation in the offerings.
Mention of more devotees and less offerings on average
In fact, there were many months in which the number of devotees increased but the offerings were less. During interrogation, the SIT was told that during that time more coins were offered than notes. It is also mentioned in the SIT report that many employees in Ram temple were doing such work for which there was no written order.

Negligence of offering monitoring committee also
The report also mentions the negligence of the offering counting and offering monitoring committee. The role of many officials and employees including Trust General Secretary Champat Rai has also been found suspicious. Irregularities have also been found in the appointment of employees in the temple. There are also suggestions to strengthen trust in the SIT report. are given
Employees’ wealth increased manifold in five years
The wealth and income of many employees in the report increased rapidly in the last 5 years. SIT has interrogated more than 60 people during its investigation. SIT also raised many serious questions while referring to the CCTV footage. No concrete evidence has been found as to how much the offering came and from which source. Therefore, it is not possible to tell with evidence whether the offering was stolen or how much was stolen. Because no account of the offerings of each devotee has been found. SIT said to submit preliminary investigation report in a week and complete report in 15 days.
