NEET Re-Exam answer key 2026: These days, medical students who have re-appeared for NEET exam are waiting for the answer key. To cancel this examination held on 3rd May, NTA had conducted the examination again on 21st June 2026. More than 22 lakh students from across the country had registered for this examination, out of which about 20 lakh students actually appeared for the examination. In such a situation, now every student is eagerly waiting for his answer key.

No official update regarding the Answer Key has been issued by NTA yet. However, according to media reports and education websites, this answer key was expected to come around June 24. A big reason for this is that NTA had released the answer key of the earlier exam held on 3rd May within just 3 days i.e. on 6th May. Looking at the same old pattern, experts believe that NTA can release the answer key soon this time too, because this time the career of lakhs of children is at stake due to the re-NEET exam.

How to check Answer Key and OMR Response Sheet?

Now let us talk about how to check the Answer Key if it has been released. For this, let us tell you that first of all students will have to go to the official website neet.nta.nic.in and scroll down on the homepage and click on the link NEET UG 2026 Re-Exam Provisional Answer Key. This link will become visible when the Answer Key is released. After this a new window will open, in which students will have to enter their application number and password. The thing to note is that the Answer Key will be issued separately for different paper codes i.e. 50, 60, 70 and 80, hence students will have to open the correct file according to their paper code.

Along with the answer key, NTA will also release the OMR response sheet, which will show which answer was chosen by the student during the examination. By combining this Response Sheet with the Answer Key, students can calculate their estimated score more accurately. At the same time, if any student feels that the answer to any question has been given wrong in the answer key, then he will also have a chance to challenge it. For this, a fee of Rs 200 will have to be paid for each question and this fee will be refunded only if the student is found correct.
