SSC CGL Last Date: There is big news for the students preparing for SSC CGL. Those who have not yet filled the SSC CGL form, they have the last chance. Actually, today 25th June 2026 is the last date to fill this form. Staff Selection Commission had once again opened the process of filling the form and the candidates who have not been able to fill the form till now will have to submit their form today itself, because after this they will not get the chance again.

Let us tell you that the form of SSC CGL 2026 was earlier being filled from 21 May to 22 June. During this period, more than 28 lakh candidates had submitted their forms. However, some candidates complained that they were not able to fill the form due to technical and many other reasons, due to which the Commission, considering their complaints, gave them one more chance to fill the form. Now this window will close tonight, so those who have not yet filled the form should not delay.

On which posts will there be recruitment and what is the qualification?

Through this recruitment, SSC has released a total of 12,256 vacancies for 40 posts of Group B and Group C. This includes many popular posts like Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Audit Officer, Income Tax Inspector, Examiner, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Auditor, Accountant, Tax Assistant and Junior Statistical Officer. To fill the form, the age of the candidate should be between 18 to 32 years, and this age will be calculated as on August 1, 2026. Besides, reserved category candidates are also given age relaxation as per government rules. To appear in this examination, a candidate must have a graduation degree from any recognized university, although for some posts, different qualifications are also sought, such as graduation with Mathematics or Statistics subject.

How to fill SSC CGL 2026 form?

To fill the form, first of all the candidates have to go to the official website of SSC ssc.gov.in and then click on the option of login or register. New candidates will have to first register with their personal details, while candidates who are already registered can login with their registration number and password. After this, you will have to fill information like your address, category, education qualification and exam center in the form. Talking about the application fee, General and OBC candidates have to pay a fee of Rs 100, while women, SC, ST, PwD and ex-serviceman candidates are exempted from the fee. While filling the form, it is also necessary to upload the scanned copy of photo and signature, hence it is advisable to keep these documents ready in advance.

When will the exam be held and why is it important to apply on time?

Candidates whose form is submitted correctly will be able to appear for Tier 1 examination later on. SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be held in August-September 2026, while Tier 2 exam will be conducted in December 2026. This examination will be completely in online mode and a total of 100 questions will be asked. Selected candidates will be given jobs in different ministries, departments and government offices, hence the candidates who have not been able to fill the form yet. They are advised to fill the form quickly, otherwise they may face problems like traffic at the window and this golden opportunity may be lost.
