Here former Union Minister and former National President of Janata Dal (United) Ramchandra Prasad Singh (RCP Singh) along with his supporters came to meet the former Chief Minister of Bihar early in the morning on Saturday (June 27). Earlier, supporters of RCP Singh had claimed that RCP Singh had reached his residence on 7-Circular Road to meet Nitish, but the meeting between the two leaders could not take place. These claims have created a stir in the politics of Bihar.

What did RCP claim?
RCP tweeted and wrote, ‘Today met former Chief Minister of Bihar, National President of Janata Dal (United) and Rajya Sabha MP, our leader respected Nitish Babu. Had a conversation with him. The meeting was very intimate. He has also shared a picture related to this meeting. These claims of the former Union Minister have made it clear that RCP Singh had met Nitish Kumar and there was a conversation between the two for some time.

Stirred by supporters’ claims
At the same time, supporters of RCP Singh had alleged before RCP Singh’s post that some people did not allow them to meet him. Supporters especially blamed Sanjay Gandhi and Lalan Sharaf and said that these people stopped RCP Singh from meeting Nitish Kumar. Supporters also said that these people do not want RCP Singh to join JDU again.
Let us tell you that there has been speculation for some time that RCP Singh may return to JDU. On January 11 this year, when Patel Seva Sangh had organized a Dahi-Chuda banquet at ‘Patel Bhawan’ located on Daroga Rai Path in Patna, apart from Nitish Kumar, RCP Singh also attended, but no conversation took place between the two. It should be noted that RCP Singh was once considered very close to Nitish Kumar and held the number two position in the party. He has also been the National President and Organization General Secretary of JDU. However, RCP Singh resigned from JDU in August 2022 amid reports of differences between the two. He was accused of corruption, after which JDU had issued him a show cause notice. RCP Singh has also been a Rajya Sabha MP and has also been a minister in the central government from JDU quota.
