The knockout matches of Women’s T20 World Cup 2028 will start from June 30. So far only England has been able to secure a place in the semi-finals. How much prize money for winning T20 World Cup?
ICC has set a prize pool of 87,64,615 US dollars (approximately Rs 82 crore) for the Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. This is 10 percent more than the previous World Cup tournament. This time the winner will get prize money of around Rs 21.8 crore and the runner-up will be given prize money of around Rs 10 crore.
The prize money of the 2026 Women’s World Cup is approximately Rs 2.5 crore less than that of the Men’s World Cup. Team India, the winner of the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup, received prize money of Rs 24.25 crore, while the women’s champion team will get approximately Rs 21.8 crore.

Pakistan out in group stage, will still get prize money
No team will return empty handed from the T20 World Cup 2026. Talking about Pakistan, it has been eliminated in the group stage itself. ICC had issued an official statement saying that all the 12 teams participating in the tournament will receive prize money of at least $2,47,500 (approximately Rs 2.05 crore).
