Cockroach Janata Party (CJP)’s agitation continues at Jantar Mantar in the national capital regarding paper leak and other issues related to students. Meanwhile, climate activist Sonam Wangchuk has started an indefinite hunger strike at Jantar Mantar on Sunday (28 June). CJP founder Abhijeet Deepak has given this information on his social media platform.

Hundreds of protesters gathered at the protest site
When climate activist Sonam Wangchuk started her fast demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over alleged irregularities in competitive examinations including NEET, hundreds of protesters also gathered at the protest site. These included mostly students and youth. Some farmer leaders also participated in this demonstration. The fast started with two minutes of silence.
Wangchuk and Deepke also went to Rajghat before the hunger strike.
Before starting the hunger strike, Wangchuk and Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Deepke also visited Rajghat to pay tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. Let us inform you that CJP has been protesting at Jantar Mantar since June 20, demanding accountability and resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan for the alleged flaws in the exam system.
Appeal to students, farmers and other organizations to join the movement
Addressing the gathering, the organizers said that the aim of this movement is to restore transparency and public trust in the examination process of the country. Deepke has appealed to students, farmers and social organizations across the country to join this movement. He believes that this issue goes beyond any one exam.
