Maharashtra government has implemented a new rule for schools. In which now it will be mandatory to study Marathi in all the schools of the state. The government says that this will promote Marathi language and children will get better information about the culture and history of the state. The government gave strict orders that all schools will have to follow this rule. The government can take strict action against schools that do not follow this decision.
Maharashtra School Education Minister Dada Bhuse said that every school in the state will have to follow this rule. The government clearly said that studying Marathi will no longer be just an option but a necessity. The government does not want to limit its decisions only to papers. For this, an investigation campaign will be conducted in the entire state. In which if any school is found not following this rule, then strict action will be taken against it.
The matter was raised in the assembly
This issue came up during the discussion in the Assembly. Some leaders said that many schools were already not following the rules properly and the action did not seem to be very effective. After all this the government decided this rule.

The government said that now children will read the complete history of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and now it has been explained in more detail in the books. So that children can understand better about the sacrifices of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
The aim is to promote Marathi culture
This decision is not limited to just books, but through this language, students will get a chance to know the history of Marathi culture and will also help a lot in Marathi culture. Now CBSE is also preparing to gradually implement the rules regarding the new language policy across the country. Although the students studying now have been given relief as per the complete rules, but in the coming time, CBSE can also take new decisions on this.
