Even after Iran signed a Memorandum of Peace Agreement (MoU) with America to end the ongoing conflict in West Asia, tension still persists between the two sides. Meanwhile, a top minister of the Iranian government has given a big statement regarding the ongoing talks with America to establish peace. The Iranian leader has said that there is no plan to hold direct talks with America this week.
What did Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister say on talks with America?
Actually, Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Garibabadi has issued an official statement in this regard on Telegram channel. In this statement he said that there are currently no plans for any direct meeting of technical teams with American officials in Qatar this week.
He said, ‘Talks with Qatar are continuing as usual, including discussions on the implementation of promises made by the other side. However, some reports have revealed that there will be technical talks of working groups in Doha, but this cannot be confirmed.
Only when the circumstances are right, talks will take place – Garibabadi
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi said, ‘The first round of technical talks under the framework of designated working groups will be held only when the necessary conditions are favorable and the date and place are agreed upon. In this regard, talks are going on through intermediary countries.
Earlier, Al Jazeera had released a report, which said that there is a possibility of talks between America and Iran in Doha, the capital of Qatar on Tuesday (June 30, 2026). However, after the latest official statement issued by the top leadership of Iran in this matter, this possibility has come to a halt for the time being.
