If you are preparing for a government job, then applications have been invited for recruitment to many non-teaching posts of Group B and Group C in Bharat Kala Bhavan in Banaras Hindu University. A total of 10 posts will be filled through this recruitment. Candidates from 12th pass to graduate pass can apply for this recruitment. Interested candidates can apply online till 8th July 2026.
On which posts will there be recruitment?
In this recruitment, posts like Assistant Curator, Artist, Assistant Photographer, Junior Draftsman and Gallery Operator are included. The highest among the 10 posts is that of Gallery Operator. Apart from this, two posts of Assistant Curator, one of Assistant Photographer and one of Junior Draftsman will be recruited.
What qualification is required?
To apply for this recruitment, different methods have been decided according to the eligibility posts. Assistant Curator should have post graduation degree in Museum Science, Heritage Management with 55% marks. Apart from this, for the post of artist, one should have graduate in fine arts and 5 years of experience. For Assistant Photographer, degree diploma in photography with 1 year experience has been sought, whereas for the post of Junior Document, 12th pass candidates can also apply. Only 12th pass candidates can apply for the post of Gallery Attendant. If a candidate has experience of working in a museum or related institution then he/she will be given preference.
age limit
The age limit for applying for this has been fixed differently, the maximum age limit has been fixed at 35 years, reserved category candidates will be given age relaxation as per government rules.

How much will the application fee be?
To apply for these posts, general, OBC and EWS category candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. Whereas no application fee will be charged from SC, ST, Divyang and all women candidates.

For selection on these posts, first of all the applications will be scrutinized, after that the candidates will be called for the written examination and test. After the document verification of the candidates who are successful in both the stages, the final list will be prepared.
How will the application be done?
To apply for this post, candidates should first register by visiting the Recruitment & Assessment Cell (RAC) portal of BHU. After this, login and fill the application form for the concerned post, upload the necessary documents, photo and signature. And submit the application form.
