There is an important update for the students preparing to take admission in PG in Delhi University (DU). If you were not able to apply earlier or there is a mistake in the application form, now you have another chance. The university has released a new schedule for PG Admission 2026-27, in which all the important dates related to seat upgrade, mid-entry, correction window, third round seat allotment and special quota have been announced.
First of all let’s talk about the upgrade window. Students who have accepted seats in the first or second round and deposited the fees can choose to freeze or upgrade their seats from 10 am June 30 to 4:59 pm July 1. However, candidates who have already got the seat of their first choice or who have already frozen their seat will not be able to opt for upgrade.
If any student made any mistake during the application or has not been able to apply till now, then there is relief news for him also. The university will open mid-entry and correction window from July 2 to July 4. During this period, new candidates will be able to participate in the admission process by paying a non-refundable fee of Rs 1,000. Students who have already registered will be able to make necessary corrections in their application form.
Opportunity for correction only within stipulated time
The university has clearly said that the opportunity for correction and mid-entry will be available only for the stipulated time. After this, any kind of change will not be accepted. Therefore, students have been advised not to wait for the last date and complete all the necessary procedures in time.

After this, the result of the third round of CSAS (PG) seat allotment and the first round of performance-based programs will be released on July 6. Students who will get a seat will have to accept their seat from July 6 to July 9 by 4:59 pm.
These are the important dates
Whereas seat allotment of CW, Sports and Ward Supernumerary quota will be released on 7th July. Candidates of these categories will also be able to accept their seats between July 7 and July 9. After accepting the seat, the concerned departments, colleges and centers will verify and approve the documents online till July 9. After this the candidates will have to deposit the entry fee by 4:59 pm on 10th July. The university has set the date to complete the entire admission process by 11 July 2026.
