Faizal Khan has bowed down in front of his entire family for the first time after years. He said that he had said wrong things in anger. Faizal apologized to his mother, brother Aamir Khan, sister Nikhat and brother-in-law Santosh Hegde and said that whatever he said in anger and pain was wrong.

While talking to Ujjwal Trivedi, Faizal Khan said, ‘First of all I want to apologize to my mother. I want to apologize to Nikhat. I apologize to Santosh. I also apologize to Aamir. In anger and pain, I said many things which should not have been said at all.
I want family peace…
Faizal further said, ‘Speaking publicly against the family was my biggest mistake. I should not have said those things in public. I should have sat and talked with the family. My aim is not to prove anyone wrong. I don’t want any answers now. I don’t want to prove that I am right and the other person is wrong. I want peace more than truth. I want peace with my family.
Quran changed my thinking
Faizal further says, ‘Forget what anyone has done. It is more important to save relationships. While reading Quran Sharif, I came across a verse in which it has been advised not to break family relationships. This verse changed my thinking. I realized that I had severed ties with my family. That’s when I decided that I would take the first step.

Faizal said, ‘First of all I called my sister Nikhat. He immediately picked up the phone. Then I came to know that mother remembers me every day. I became emotional after hearing his voice and took a flight to Mumbai the very next day. I met my mother and apologized to her and then also met Aamir Khan.
Faizal told that he told Aamir Khan, ‘I am sorry. Whatever I did, please forgive me. Faizal further said, ‘The family has accepted me with full love. Everyone welcomed me. Ammi, Nikhat, Santosh and Aamir all adopted me. Now all our grievances are over.

This controversy started in the year 2007 due to the fight related to mental health, house arrest and legal rights.
