Shreyas Iyer has been made the 15th T20 captain of India. He replaced 2026 T20 World Cup winning captain Suryakumar Yadav. MS Dhoni, Rohit Sharma and Suryakumar Yadav won the title
Till now there have been only 3 captains who have made India win the T20 World Cup title. First of all, in 2007, under the captaincy of MS Dhoni, Team India won the T20 World Cup title.
