Petrol-Diesel News: Due to the war between US and Iran, fuel prices have increased significantly in the last few months. Due to which the general public was also troubled. However, at present the situation remains normal, due to which it is expected that there will be no increase in fuel prices. However, despite such increase in prices, the public has not reduced the consumption of petrol and diesel in June. Let us tell you how much petrol and diesel people have used in the month of June.

How much petrol will be consumed?
Recently Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) has released some of its data. Through which it is told how much fuel was consumed in June. According to these preliminary data, people have consumed a lot of fuel due to their travel plans. Petrol consumption in June 2006 was 3,768 thousand metric tons (TMT), which is 7% more than last year. The main reason for this was the increasing use of private vehicles and increase in the movement of people.

How much diesel was consumed?
So, if we talk about diesel, its consumption in the month of June was 8,552 TMT, which is 5.52% more on annual basis. This indicates that freight, transportation and industrial activities remain strong in the country. Due to which diesel consumption has also increased significantly.

Decline recorded in ATF
Not only this, the data of ATF i.e. Aviation Turbine Fuel is also given in it. According to this report, there has been a slight decline in the demand for airplane fuel. Its consumption in June was 726 TMT, which is 0.58% less than last year. It is a matter of relief that from July 1, oil companies have reduced the price of ATF by about Rs 5 per liter, because crude oil has become cheaper in the international market.

These figures have come to light when the government oil companies had increased the prices of petrol and diesel by about Rs 7.5 in the month of May. Despite this, there has been no impact on fuel demand. However, now that the prices of crude oil have come down, it is possible that the prices of petrol and diesel may also come down in the coming times.
