The Indian team has dominated the second unofficial test. By the end of the second day’s play, India A had scored 247 runs losing only one wicket. Sai Sudarshan and Devdutt Padikkal have completed their respective centuries and Team India is still behind by 119 runs in the first innings. Sri Lanka A had scored 366 runs in the first innings.
On the second day, Sri Lanka extended its innings to 288/5. Captain Sahan Arachige scored a century and was out after scoring 127 runs. On the second day, the Sri Lankan team was able to add 88 more runs to the scoreboard. Gurnoor Brar and Saransh Jain took four wickets each for India A.
Sudarshan and Padikkal shine
Sai Sudarshan and Aman Mokhade started the innings for India A. Aman was out after scoring 38 runs. Team India lost only the wicket of Aman till the end of the second day’s play. After that Sai Sudarshan and Devdutt Padikkal made the Sri Lankan bowlers cry till the stumps. There is a partnership of 181 runs between Sudarshan and Padikkal.
Sai Sudarshan has scored his second consecutive century in the unofficial Test series against Sri Lanka. He had scored 132 runs in the first innings of the first unofficial test and now he is playing after scoring 104 runs in the first innings of the second match. On the other hand, Padikkal has also maintained his good form after scoring a half-century in the second innings of the first Test. He is currently playing after scoring 94 runs.
India has a chance to win the series
