The country’s young bike rider Shreyansh Mittal has achieved such a feat, which has also been recognized by the India Book of Records. Shreyansh has created a new record by completing the fastest journey alone on a motorcycle from the East Coast of India to the West Coast. For this achievement he has been awarded an official certificate from the India Book of Records.
As per records, Shreyansh Mittal started his journey at 5:45 am on March 30, 2026, passing through major coastal cities of Odisha like Digha, Puri, Visakhapatnam, Chennai, Puducherry, Rameshwaram, Kanyakumari and Kochi. During the entire journey, he continuously drove the motorcycle on the major routes along the Indian coast.
After this campaign that continued for several days, Shreyansh reached Koteshwar (west coast) of Gujarat on 5 April 2026 at 6:35 pm and completed his journey successfully. During this period he covered a total distance of 6,616.6 kilometers. He completed this entire journey in 6 days, 12 hours and 50 minutes, which is a new record in itself.
According to the India Book of Records, this achievement has been recorded as the Fastest Individual to Complete a Solo Motorcycle Expedition from East Coast to West Coast of India. The record was officially confirmed on 14 May 2026, while the certificate was issued on 12 June 2026.
