The enthusiasm of students for undergraduate admission for the academic session 2026-27 in Delhi University is continuously increasing. According to the information released by the university, till now more than 1,42,733 candidates have registered in the first phase of Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS). After the beginning of the second phase, more than 43,547 students have selected the college and course of their choice.
You can fill your choice of college and course till 11th July
The second phase of CSAS has started. In this phase, candidates are being given the opportunity to choose the college and course of their choice. Students can register their preferences till 11:59 pm on 11th July 2026. Before choosing the college and course, candidates will have to map the subjects studied in class 12 with the corresponding subjects given in CUET UG. Only after this they will be able to lock their choice.
How many seats will be admitted this year?
This time there will be admissions in 67 colleges of Delhi University. The university will offer admission in 73 UG courses and more than 100 BA program combinations. Overall, admission will be done on more than 71 thousand seats. All admissions will be based on the marks of CUET UG 2026. However, it will be necessary to fulfill the prescribed eligibility conditions for each course.
Simulated rank will be visible on 12th July
The university will first release the simulated ranks on 12th July 2026 at 5 pm to show the candidates their probable position. After this, students will get a chance to change their college and course preferences till 13th July. With this, candidates will be able to organize their choices in a better way.
When will the first seat allotment list come?
The first seat allotment list of Delhi University will be released on 16 July 2026. Candidates who will get the seat will have to accept it by July 18. After this, the concerned colleges will verify the documents till July 20. The last date for depositing the first round admission fees has been fixed as July 21.
CSAS Registration Fee
The fee has been kept at Rs 250 for General, OBC-NCL and EWS and Rs 100 for SC, ST and PwBD. It is very important for the candidates to take care of all these steps and dates, because there will be no chance to change the application or preferences after any prescribed deadline.

Complete schedule of second round
The second round seat allotment list will be released on 25th July 2026. Candidates getting seats in this list will be able to accept the seats till 26th July. Colleges will verify the documents by July 27 and admission fees will have to be deposited by July 28.
New academic session will start from 28th July
The new academic session of Delhi University will start from 28 July 2026. To participate in the admission process, students have to register on the CSAS portal through the application number of CUET UG 2026. The university has also said that the basic information of the candidates is being automatically obtained through API Setu, which will reduce data entry mistakes and make the entire process more secure and easier than before.
