Missile Ecosystem in Shivpuri: A historic step has been taken towards making India self-reliant in the defense sector and promoting manufacturing. Adani Defense and Aerospace has laid the foundation stone of South Asia’s largest private sector missile ecosystem with a major investment of Rs 2500 crore in Shivpuri, Madhya Pradesh.
Under this state-of-the-art project, composite propellant and TNT will be produced at one place. TNT is a type of explosive. This kind of large-scale capacity is being created for the first time in the private sector of India.
5000 youth will get employment
This investment by Adani Group is expected to change the economic and industrial face of the region. This project will generate approximately 5000 direct and indirect skilled employment. With this, new opportunities will open for micro, small and medium enterprises i.e. MSMEs, due to which Madhya Pradesh will be established as a major defense hub of the country. This plant will help the Indian Armed Forces to induct indigenous missile systems on a large scale.

Welcoming this investment, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said, “This historic investment reflects the emerging face of MP for strategic manufacturing. This will strengthen the country’s defense system and accelerate industrial development in the state.”
Guna-Shivpuri region’s MP and Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia called it a new chapter for the region. “By bringing advanced defense manufacturing to the heart of the state, this facility will create high-quality employment opportunities for our youth and create a strong industrial infrastructure for the future,” he said.
The country’s security will become stronger
Adani Defense and Aerospace Director Jeet Adani described this launch as very important for the country. He said that missile system integration and production of necessary materials at one place will strengthen India’s defense preparedness and will be a major contribution towards self-reliant India.

This plant will be equipped with advanced automated production system and international security standards, where work can be done on multiple missile programs simultaneously.
