Cockroach Janata Party (CJP)’s protest continues at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar demanding the resignation of Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the NEET paper leak issue. Social activist Sonam Wangchuk, who is supporting this movement, is on fast for the last nine days. Along with him, some students are also sitting on hunger strike, although they are constantly being explained to end the fast.
Abhijeet Deepke, who came into limelight on social media by becoming CJP, has also appealed to the students not to fast. He says that this movement can go on for a long time and in such a situation it is important for all the people to remain healthy and active. He said that Sonam Wangchuk has the experience of fasting, so she should be allowed to continue, while the rest should take up other responsibilities of the movement.

Sonam Wangchuk on hunger strike
According to the information, Sonam Wangchuk has been on fast for 9 consecutive days and during this period her weight has also reduced rapidly. Abhijeet Deepke, who has become increasingly popular on social media, has not been successful in gathering large crowds at Jantar Mantar as expected. Despite this, he is continuously involved in demonstrations along with his supporters and students. While talking to a YouTube channel, Abhijeet Deepke said that he has requested all the people not to sit on hunger strike. He said that if everyone goes on a fast then who will handle the movement further? According to him, if the government was concerned about this issue, action would have been taken only after the death of children or the incident of paper leak. Therefore, he asked the protesters to take care of their health, because this fight can last for a long time.
Sonam Wangchuk’s experience of fasting

If everyone goes on hunger strike then who will handle the rest of the arrangements for the protest? Meanwhile, a few days ago, Sonam Wangchuk had also appealed to the people gathered at the protest site to observe a symbolic fast for one day. He had said that many people are having a full meal there, while the fasting people are hungry. He suggested that people should not eat food for at least one day so that there would be less need to arrange food during the day.
What did Sonam Wangchuk say about the fast?
Sonam Wangchuk had also said that eating more than required is not good for health. He said that people can become victims of obesity and diseases by eating too much food, hence he appealed to the people to exercise restraint and keep a fast for a day to show their participation towards the movement.
