Box Office Collection: Movies are released every week in theaters at the box office. Many a times, some films come which create a stir and break all the records in terms of earnings, but this time Friday proved to be a failure at the box office. About 5 films were released in theaters and all of them did not perform well. It also includes big budget films from South. Let us tell about them.
Alpha
Alia Bhatt and Sharvari Wagh’s spy action thriller film ‘Alpha’ also did not perform well at the box office. The film could not earn as much as its star cast had. According to Sacknilk, the film did a business of Rs 9.25 crore on the first day, Rs 11.50 crore on the second day and Rs 13.25 crore on the third day, after which its India net collection stood at Rs 34 crore. This figure of the film’s earnings is nothing in terms of the buzz of the film and the stardom of the stars.

Nagabandham
The action adventure film ‘Nagabandham’ was released on Friday, 3rd July and the film did not perform well. Whereas this was South’s most awaited and big budget film of 2026. But it could not perform well. According to Sacknilk, the film collected Rs 3.40 crore on the first day, Rs 3.05 crore on the second day and Rs 3.65 crore on the third day on Sunday. After this the India net collection of the film has reached 10.10 crores. Whereas according to the report, the budget of the film was around Rs 100 crore.

Tamil film ‘Gatta Kushti 2’ was also released on this Friday and this film also did not earn much. According to Sacknilk, the film has done a business of Rs 2.70 crore on the first day, Rs 4.95 crore on the second day and Rs 6.20 crore on the third day, after which the three-day India net collection of the film has reached Rs 13.85 crore.

Rao Bahadur
Telugu film ‘Rao Bahadur’ was also released on 3 July. This is a psychological drama film, which flopped badly at the box office. According to Sacknilk, the film has done a business of Rs 1.61 crore on the first day, Rs 2.76 crore on the second day and Rs 1.15 crore on the third day, after which the three-day India net collection of the film has become Rs 4.85 crore.

Along with this, Huma Qureshi’s 2026 thriller film ‘Baby Do Die Do’ is also included in this list. This film also flopped badly at the box office. It has not been able to earn even Rs 2 crore in three days. According to Sacknilk, the film did a business of Rs 40 lakh on the first day, Rs 58 lakh on the second day and Rs 83 lakh on the third day, after which the film was able to earn only Rs 1.81 crore in just three days.
5 films could not earn even Rs 100 crore in first weekend
However, if the three-day collection of these films is added, then together these films have not been able to cross even Rs 100 crore at the box office. If the net collection of these 5 films is added, then this week the new films have been able to collect only Rs 64.51 crore at the box office. In terms of the budget of the film and the stardom of the stars, this figure is nothing for the box office.
