In this viral video it is being claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is distributing free mobile phones to the people. People who have Aadhar card and ration card and anyone in their family has a government job will be able to take advantage of this scheme. The truth of this news has now come out from the government side. The government has called this claim false.

The viral claim is false
This video has been shared through the official X (Twitter) account of PIB Fact Check. On which it is clearly written ‘Fake’. The caption accompanying this video reads, ‘Beware of videos claiming to give free mobile. A video of a Facebook page named ‘GovtEdge’ is going viral on social media. It is being claimed that people who have Aadhar card and ration card and whose family does not have anyone in a government job, they will be given a free mobile phone by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. PIB Fact Check has declared this claim to be completely fake.
