The audience is eagerly waiting for this film. The craze about the film is such that tickets for the first day of its release are being sold in black for around Rs 47,500.

Tickets are being sold in thousands
Tickets for the ’70mm IMAX’ showing of Christopher Nolan’s film were sold out within minutes a year ago. At the same time, when the sale of remaining tickets started last month, many ticket booking websites faced problems due to heavy traffic.

According to media reports, shows in many big IMAX theaters in New York and Los Angeles have already been housefull for weeks. Despite this, film tickets are being sold in the black market for more than $500 (about Rs 47,500).

Tremendous craze for films in India
A tremendous craze for the film is being seen in India also. Booking of IMAX tickets started about a month before the release. Now one week is left for the release. In cities like Mumbai and Delhi, premium IMAX tickets, priced up to Rs 3,300, have also been sold out in most theaters.

About ‘The Odyssey’
In ‘The Odyssey’, Matt Damon plays the role of Odysseus, king of Ithaca. The film tells the story of their dangerous and exciting journey to return home after the Trojan War. Anne Hathaway, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson and Charlize Theron will also be seen in important roles in the film.

If reports are to be believed, the budget of the film is said to be around Rs 2000 crore. It will be released in India on July 16, 2026 and in the UK along with the US on July 17, 2026.
