But now, in the hearing held in this case on July 10, the Delhi High Court has upheld the actor’s sentence and sentenced him to three months in jail and also imposed a fine on him. When his film flopped badly, he was not able to pay this amount. The interest on this also kept increasing with time and the total amount to be paid reached Rs 9 crore.

Three months jail sentence in all seven cases

Let us tell you that Rajpal Yadav has 7 cases related to check bounce. Delhi High Court, while upholding the decision of the trial court, has sentenced the actor to three months in jail in each of the 7 cases. However, for everyone they will have to spend three months in jail only once. That means the punishment will run together in all the cases. The court has ordered that the actor will have to pay Rs 7 crore 35 lakh in this case.
