Indian origin Google employee Sheetal shot dead in America, son also injured, what is the whole matter

In Georgia, America, an Indian-American woman and senior technology executive of Google was shot dead by her husband. His son also got shot in this alleged incident of domestic violence. The accused is 56-year-old Kirk B. Vrazesian was arrested Tuesday night at his home in Cobb County, near Atlanta.

According to local media reports, he is currently being held in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. Police said officers responded to a report of shots fired at a home in the city of Smyrna, Georgia, shortly before 8:00 p.m. Upon arrival they found 57-year-old Sheetal Vrazesian inside the home, who had been shot. He later died due to his injuries.

His 23-year-old son, Jason Vrazesian, was found outside the home injured, having also been shot. Emergency responders took him to a local hospital for treatment. Cobb County Police Department reports that Kirk Vrazesian has been charged with murder, two counts of aggravated assault and two counts of weapons possession.

Police said domestic violence
The police described the incident as a case of domestic violence and said that there is no danger to the general public. Authorities have not said what led to the shooting and have not provided any updates on Jason’s medical condition. Authorities have not announced any arrests at this time. Investigation is going on regarding the matter.

Sheetal Vrazesian had expertise in the areas of strategic leadership, organizational transformation, mobile and web technology, marketing technology and e-commerce. Sheetal, who grew up in England, India and Ghana, later came to America to study computer science at the Georgia Institute of Technology.

She lived in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and two children, Jason and Jessica. Sheetal was the inventor of 2 software patents. She also served on the Advisory Board of the Georgia Tech College of Computing and was a member of the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Tech Alumni Association.
